Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in agriculture, rural livelihoods, or related sectors.
Position Requirements
- Graduate in Agriculture / Rural Development / Social Sciences or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in agriculture, rural livelihoods, or related sectors
- Experience in cotton production and marketing will be preferred
- Experience working with rural communities is essential
- Experience in project management
- Fluency in Telugu (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of Hindi and/or English
- Strong leadership and community engagement skills
- Willingness to work extensively in villages and remote areas
- Ability to lead teams and ensure timely project execution
Job Description
The Project Coordinator will manage implementation of agriculture, allied activities, and NTFP (Non‑Timber Forest Produce) interventions in Amrabad and be responsible for managing the team and project execution within the timeframe.
Key responsibilities
- Manage field implementation of project activities related to agriculture, allied activities, and NTFP
- Promote improved agronomic practices as required in the project.
- Facilitate exposure visits, field demonstrations, and farmer meetings
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and targets
- Support aggregation and market linkages for cotton and NTFP
- Facilitate linkages with traders, FPOs, ginners, and other market actors
- Lead and supervise the field team to ensure effective village‑level implementation
- Maintain reporting, documentation, and progress tracking
- Perform any other duty assigned for promoting the vision and mission of the organization.
