The highlight of the match was a stellar batting performance by Nagarkurnool’s B. Narayana, whose brilliant, unbeaten century anchored the successful run chase.
Batting first, the Wanaparthy Cricket Association put up a competitive total of 216 runs before being bowled out in 34 overs. MD Jabber was the top scorer for Wanaparthy, missing out on a half-century with a hard-fought 49 runs. Nagarkurnool’s bowling attack put on a disciplined display, heavily restricted by a standout performance from Jashwanth, who ripped through the lineup to finish with impressive figures of 4/41.
