Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple

Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple is one of the most revered Hindu temples in the Nagar Kurnool district of Telangana. Located on the scenic Venkanna Konda hill near Vattem village, the temple is a prominent pilgrimage destination that attracts thousands of devotees throughout the year. Due to its spiritual significance and resemblance to Tirumala traditions, it is often referred to as “Chinna Tirupati” (Mini Tirupati).

The construction of the temple began in 1983 and was completed within three years. The idols of Lord Venkateswara Swamy, Goddess Padmavathi, and Goddess Goda Devi were consecrated in 1986 under the guidance of Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Over the years, the temple complex has expanded to include a Pushkarini (sacred pond), Sri Bhoo Varaha Swamy Temple, Abhaya Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Kalyana Mandapam, and other facilities for pilgrims.

The temple is known for its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful hilltop surroundings, and grand celebrations of festivals such as Brahmotsavam, Pavitrotsavam, and Goda Kalyanam. With its rich spiritual heritage and serene environment, Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple stands as one of the most important religious landmarks in Nagar Kurnool district, offering devotees a place for worship, meditation, and divine blessings.
